These example release notes describe the direction of the Zeff product concept. They are not a verified production release history. Each improvement starts with a specific working moment: joining a multilingual room, leaving a colleague to focus or finding the next action after a conversation.
Live Translator: your reading language stays yours
Example update · Conversation experience. A room can contain colleagues reading captions in different languages. The selected reading language stays visible beside the caption controls, so joining another conversation does not leave someone guessing which language they will receive.
Original captions remain easy to compare with the translation. A clear label separates the speaker’s language from the reader’s preference. This makes mixed-language reviews easier to follow when people alternate between languages during the same meeting.
Try the concept: open the interactive workspace and change the caption language. The preview uses prepared example dialogue.
Presence: a clearer way to say when you’ll be back
Example update · Presence and availability. A focusing teammate can show a short return note beside their status. Colleagues see useful context before asking for a call, instead of treating a quiet status as a dead end.
The invitation flow keeps the message option nearby. Someone can leave a specific question and a response window, while the focusing teammate can keep working without explaining their availability again.
Meeting notes: keep the owner with the action
Example update · Meeting Notes & Decisions. An action item groups the task, its owner and its due date in one readable row. A link returns to the discussion context when someone needs to understand why the decision was made.
Notes stay a draft until a person reviews them. Assisted notes require participant consent, and people can correct a misunderstanding before sharing the outcome. For multilingual meetings, that review includes checking important wording against the original discussion.
